* We have received reports that general cargo ship HEEMSKERKGRACHT (IMO:9443669), ran aground off Kahnawake, Canada on 22 August 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel currently remains aground.

* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
